Create 3D models from a photo or text: From phototo hand.

A few photos or one sentence become a 3D model with shape, material and color. Turn it in the browser, place it in your room with AR or download it as STL for your 3D printer.

How your 3D model is made

  1. Photo or sentence

Upload 1 to 5 photos of the same object, ideally from several sides, or describe it in one sentence: shape, parts, material, color. Tevyon turns that into the prompt for the model.

  2. Choose the detail

Standard for web and AR, 3D print for fine detail; in color or white. The price in credits is set before you start.

  3. Turn and download

Check the model from every side in the browser and download it as STL, OBJ, GLB, USDZ or PNG.

Questions about 3D models

What does a 3D model cost on Tevyon?

100 credits per model, the same for every setting. You then download all 5 formats from the same model. Credits come as a pack from CHF 10 for 1,000 credits or with a plan from CHF 18 a month for 2,000 credits. Credits from packs never expire. When you start, the credits are reserved and only charged once the model is done. If it fails, you get them all back.

Which photos work for a 3D model?

1 to 5 photos of the same object, ideally from the front, the side and the back, fully in frame, well lit and against a calm background. Whatever the photos don't show, such as the back or the material, you add in one sentence. Only upload photos you have the rights to; people shown must agree.

Can I print the model on a 3D printer?

Yes. The STL file is 100 mm on its longest side, stands upright on the build plate and goes straight into the slicer, where you change the size. For fine detail, choose the “3D print” detail with 500,000 faces. Before printing, check wall thickness and supports in the slicer: very thin or overhanging parts don't work on every printer.

Which formats do I get?

STL (3D printer, 100 mm), OBJ (Blender and printing, no color), GLB (Web and games, with color), USDZ (AR on iPhone and iPad), PNG (Snapshot of the view). All of them come from the same model, and you download them as often as you like.

Can I view the model in AR?

Yes. On iPhone and iPad you place the model in your room as USDZ; on many Android phones it works straight from the view in the Studio.

How long does a 3D model take?

Usually a few minutes. You don't have to stay: the finished model then waits in your Assets, ready to turn and download.

Can I use the models commercially?

Yes. You may use the results privately and commercially; Tevyon claims no rights to them (Terms). Don't recreate other people's protected characters, brands or designs without having the rights to them, and follow the Usage Policy.
